Many of my fondest childhood memories revolve around vacations with my family. I learned at an early age that traveling takes you away from everyday life and allows you to explore and reconnect with loved ones. My true passion for travel started when I visited Hawaii nearly 30 years ago. From that experience, my perspective opened to a big, beautiful world and my fascination with travel exploded! As the years went on, I found myself researching, dreaming, and customizing beautiful trips. In 2017, I turned my dream into reality and Destinations by Kami was born! Destinations by Kami has blossomed into something greater than I could’ve imagined. The best part of my career is the relationships built while planning dream trips for others. My goal is to anticipate what guests need to have the perfect trip. I have dedicated myself to providing top-notch service.
I’m a Certified Travel Associate, certified by the Travel Institute. I have extensive knowledge & experience with all-inclusive resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean. All-Inclusive resorts are my specialty and I’ve explored endless resorts in person. I’ve also trained with many worldwide travel industry leaders. My agency is partnered with some of the best tour operators in the world to create both self-guided and escorted trips. This includes river and ocean cruising as well. I love the challenge of creating even the most detailed itinerary.

We originally started talking to Kami in 2019 to start planning a honeymoon in 2020. Covid happened, so we ended up postponing and booked a honeymoon for 2021. . Kami worked tirelessly to help us reschedule for this year (2022) and we were able to use what we had paid for 2021, as a deposit on our 2022 trip. We knew we wanted all-inclusive, adults only resort in Mexico, but that was all we knew. Kami took the time to find out what was important to us for our trip (beach or pool, secluded or busy, etc.) and put a list of 4 resorts together for us.

When we booked our vacation to Jamaica, Kami listened to our requests and expectations, and then she had just the perfect place for us. Kami kept us in the loop and reached out to us to communicate any changes that would occur in the process, such as a flight change we encountered on the way. Kami made suggestions on upgrades that we found to be beneficial to make the trip low stress. Our trip turned out to be the most relaxing week ever. To best describe this experience was like picking up a drink at the airport, and having those around just point us where to go on our ride to Paradise.
